All of us come into contact with four energies everyday: Stress, Shame, Trauma and Grief. The #1 principle: "Find a series of actions you can take on a daily basis, regardless of how you feel, to stay spiritually fit so that you can metabolize those energies." Spirituality is a unique, individual, personal process. I am a EMDRIA trained EMDR therapist and a Trauma informed specialist. Protocol dictates the following order: Crisis, Trauma, and then Talk Therapy, psycho-education, psychoanalysis. Have you resolved, generalized and neutralized your trauma? Understanding that Shame is "baked" into every system, Trauma happens in the small moments of our lives, and that anytime there is change (whether we label that change Good/Bad, Right/Wrong, Positive/Negative) there is loss and we are always in the grief cycle.
